The other book that I just recently passed is "Grace" by Richard Paul Evans. This story is another true story about a teenage boy that finds a runaway and allows her to live in his clubhouse. In so doing he develops a friendship that he carries with him his entire life long after Grace has left. Again if you can't wait for this book to pass your way you can check it out on Amazon.com

The Christmas Sweater
This book is written by Glen Beck. It is based on his childhood, although some of the components have been changed slightly. I found it to be a very touching story that brought several tears to my eyes. Of course that could have been due to pregnancy hormones. After you've read this book tell me what you think. There is also going to be a movie released on 12/17. I always like to read a book and then see the movie and compare them. If you are really anxious to get this book and can't wait for it to pass your way, check it out on Amazon.com
The idea behind the blog and instructions
Well I can not take all the credit for this idea. My dad actually gave me the basic premise. When I was at his house last (Thanksgiving) he gave me 2 books and told me to read them and then to give them to someone else and ask them to do the same. I decided to take it one step further. I wrote my name, the place I live (which may not be where the books were read) and the date completed. My plan is as the books get passed around each person will write the same info in the book prior to passing them along. Then they can come to this site and update the books location and others can come and check to see where the books have gone since they've left them.
How I see this working is simple:
Read the book
Write your name, date completed and your location and who you pass it to.
Come to the blog and input that info in the comments section for that book.
Pass the book on to someone and ask them to do the same.
Check out the blog to see where your books ahve been passed.
Have a book you'd like to pass:
Email me a picture of the cover and a brief description of the book and I'll gladly add it our "Pass the Books" book list. Which is available at the bottom of the blog.
